Top Part-Time MBA Degrees

Many of us going back to school online are adults with jobs, families, and commitments. With all of the colleges offering online MBA programs, it is difficult to determine which one will suit your needs and have the specialization you are looking for.  Ten of the colleges offering top part-time MBA degrees as listed by US News & World Report are listed below.

The ten schools on the list have similar programs but vary greatly in regards to tuition and concentrations or specializations offered.  Also, not all of the top business schools offer 100% online degree programs.  Tuition rates vary greatly, ranging from $761 per credit hour at Santa Clara University to $4,564 per credit hour at Northwestern.  Some schools only offer full or part time tuition rates and can go as high as $38,563 for part time coursework at UCLA.

American Intercontinental University (AIU)

While AIU does not make the US News & World Report list of top part-time MBA degrees, it is indeed one of the best programs around.  There are ten specializations offered including healthcare management, operations management, international business, and organizational psychology and development.  Courses are 100% online and tuition starts at just $613 per credit hour.  Many financial aid options are also available.

All concentrations offered require 48 credits to complete and include the same core courses such as economics, global financial management, strategic management, and leadership.  There are four quarters per academic year with three sessions per quarter.  There are two five-week sessions and one ten-week session.  This allows students the ability to greatly accelerate their coursework.
