What to consider when enrolling in AACSB accredited schools
- Keep in mind that not all business schools are AACSB accredited. School accreditation doesn’t mean individual programs in the school are accredited, hence you should find out before you enroll in any school.
- It’s also important to know that Honor students in Business are recognized by being a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and a student have to be among the top 10 in the senior class. Only AACSB accredited schools can offer Beta Gamma Sigma membership to students.
- Before you enroll in an institution for your business course, it’s important to find out whether the available options are AACSB accredited schools. In the US in particular, AACSB accreditation is very important and employers will not hire you if you didn’t graduate from AACSB accredited schools.
- Enrolling in AACSB accredited schools is a guarantee that you’re learning from the best in the field. This is because AACSB will only accredit an institution if its faculty and members are educated to a certain accepted level. The contribution of faculty towards education, towards research, and towards service will also determine AACSB accreditation.
