History of Harding University

Harding University formed after two junior colleges merged in 1924. Harding is a private, 4- year, Christian institution of Higher Education based on a traditional  liberal arts and sciences curriculum. The University is named in memory of James A. Harding who was the co-founder of Nashville Bible School. Harding University moved its campus location in 1934 to Searcy, Arkansas which is Northeast of Little Rock.

Harding is a four-year, private, residential co-educational liberal arts university. Students can choose from 10 undergraduate degrees in 90 academic majors from four colleges including; a College of Business, College of Arts and Humanities, a College of Bible and Religion, a College of Communication, College of Education, College of Nursing, College of Sciences as well as 12 graduate and professional programs in business, education, marriage and family therapy, pharmacy and religion.

Harding University – Christian MBA Online

For students interested in earning a Christian MBA online, that is, earning an MBA from a university which uphold Christian principles, than Harding University is for you. Harding University began offering an MBA Online in 1998. Harding University’s MBA program is equal in quality to its campus program.

Harding University’s online classes are six weeks in length with two semester blocks. Students are engaged with a large online network and interactive discussions with instructors. Students will gain access to their online classes, assignments, discussions, tests and presentations through the WebCT program.

Students can complete their Christian MBA Online in as little as 12 months depending on the number of credit hours taken each semester. Students can choose the accelerated MBA track which requires 36 credit hours for completion. Core classes including accounting, ethics, financial management, applied theory of economics, corporate strategy and planning and marketing management.

Tuition

Graduate tuition is about $520 per credit hour. Financial Aid assistance is available for eligible students.
