About Baker Online
Baker Online currently offers 34 different online degree programs. Each program is designed to prepare students with the knowledge they need to begin or advance their career position as quickly as possible. Baker Online Master of Business Administration
The Master of Business Administration program at Baker College online is quite robust. Baker College offers 8 specializations, depending on your primary area of interest:
- Accounting
- Finance
- General business
- Health care management
- Human resources management
- Information management major
- Leadership studies
- Marketing
Each MBA program will take roughly between 50 to 60 credit hours to complete. These hours are split between “Major Core” and “Business Core” courses. The Major Core courses are those that are specifically designed for the specialty you choose. For instance, the Accounting specialization would have courses such as Global Accounting, Taxation, and Non-Profit Accounting in its Major Core. The Business Core includes common courses that all MBA students take to ensure that students receive the same quality and level of instruction.
Most of the MBA programs have about 20 hours of Major Core requirements and 33 hours of Business Core requirements. The only exception to this is the General Business MBA, which requires 12 hours of Major Core and 37 hours of Business Core courses.
